Cyber Security

This course will cover a comprehensive range of topics, beginning with the fundamental principles of cybersecurity and an overview of various types of cyber threats. Participants will learn how to implement essential security protocols, including tools, technologies, and controls designed to protect systems, networks, and programs from cyberattacks. The course will delve into network security, focusing on the technical aspects of data transmission to ensure data protection. Additionally, it will explore cryptography, teaching participants how to use this specialized area of mathematics to secure information during transmission. The course will also include practical training in malware analysis, the use of firewalls, and the deployment of intrusion detection systems (IDS). Finally, participants will be guided through security best practices to help them maintain robust cybersecurity defences.
